If you want to stay at a peaceful place with clean water and few tourists you can visit Mae Phim.

In this “new” tourist area, about 90% of tourists from Thailand and 10% from Europe.
On weekdays there are very few people on the beach and in the streets.

On weekends Thai tourists come to enjoy the beach life and the delicious local food. On the beach road there are several seafood restaurants, but you can also find European food.

Mae Phim is placed in the Siam Bay with views to the island Koh Samet which is only 2.5 hour's drive by taxi from Bangkok Airport.

At the small islands near Mae Phim you can snorkel and see beautiful corals and fish.

If you want to walk and see beautiful waterfalls, you can visit the Khao Chamao mountain, which is an hour’s taxi ride from Mae Phim. If the nightlife gets too quiet, you can take a taxi, a 30 min. ride, to the seaport of Koh Samet - Ban Phe.

On the beach road there are supermarkets, internet cafes, massage therapy and ATM facilities.
